Celebrity Mole 1/7 *spoilers*

Yeah! It's back :)

I think they got some really interesting celebs this round. I actually know who most of them are and it will be interesting to see how they react.

I really liked the secret swimming game. It's things like this that are where the Mole really shines...when they are playing a game and no one knows. The players really needs to be on their toes the entire time.

Dennis Rodman either has no clue or is playing a heck of a game. He acts like he doesn't care at all, and that should really get him kicked out fast. Or it's just an act and he's fooling us all...

I enjoyed it. The pool thing was nice (for many reasons :)

I enjoy best the games where people are clearly forced to work as a team, but outside of the mass group-think. When one player relies on another, etc. Like the 'identify my relative from my verbal description' game they had in the real mole.

Alright someone explain "The Mole" to me. I watched most of it last night and don't get it. They say that "The Mole" is out to sabotage the game. What game? Is there a game inside the game?

Posted by: lander215

The "game" is that one of the players is "the mole", and the others have to determine, throughout the course of the game, who that person is. The mole will do things to prevent money from going into the pot, or by making others think that someone else is the mole.

Saw a couple of clues in the show last night, but I'm gonna go back through it again to see if I can find others.

I'm betting on Keisha or Dennis as the Mole right now. My opinion of Dennis mirrors that of DancnDude's. Either he's a total moron in how the game is played, or he's The Mole. Either way, it'll be interesting to watch.

Dennis is too obvious. Keisha is my pick for the mole. She's quiet and in the background, and that's usually who the mole is. Someone who just goes along and isn't super aggressive.

Watching Corbin and Stephen is great, because both are so insane.

I was so hoping Dennis would get the red screen last night.

Most reality shows don't hold my interest but I'm always up for a good mystery so it will be interesting watching this to see who the mole it :)

And yes the lagoon game was nice :)

Early on in the episode I had Ananda as my pick for the Mole. Naturally she's the first one kicked out. Good cast, Corbin and Stephen are great as usual, Mark Curry is pretty damn funny and seems like a good fit, and Angie Everheart - nuff said.

Speaking of Angie, unless she's the Mole, what benefit did she bring by making up the story about seeing the fertility piece? She mentioned she wanted people to think she was "moley" early on - what does that serve if she's not?

I'm leaning towards Dennis right now too. He annoys the heck out of me, but that would be a good cover. In the artifact game, he hadn't decided and then all of a sudden, he went with what everyone else was saying. Sort of like he gave in to them, because he knew it was wrong and they'd lose the money for the pot. I can just see the producers telling him to wait and see where everyone else was headed in their thinking and then either go with them to make the majority, or lean the other way if they weren't off base.
Since they were off base, it was easy for him to say, "if that's what you guys think, then I'll go that way too."

If there have been any hidden clues so far, the only thing that's caught my eye so far is the ball that was hanging from the rear view mirror in the cab. It was red and white, Chicago Bull colors. This may be a stretch, but I'm not getting up to smell paint. ;)

If people think that she is the mole, then they will get the wrong answers on the quiz. The person with the most wrong answers is executed (out of the game). This way, she has a better chance of not losing early on.

A good strategy early would be to answer questions with multiple people in mind as the Mole. Your odds of getting something write are much better. If you put all of your answers on one person, and that person is not the mole, then you are likely to fail miserably. I suspect that is what Ananda did. Stephen & Corbin should know better the second time around.

My vote is on Dennis because he seems so clueless. However, this could be a great Mole strategy that helps to ensure his survival. Stephen or Corbin may be the Mole simply because the producers want to give one/both of them as much face-time as possible.

Good point, last year's finalists left a lil something to be desired. Can't remember the guy's name, but he was boring as hell.

I didn't watch this last night, but I may try and start watching it. Can I jump in with the next episode? Or will I be lost? I do understand, for the most part, the idea of The Mole...

You won't be lost at all. Go ahead and jump in!

Erik von Detten was the finalist that lost in Celebrity Mole Hawaii.

I still hope they someday do another real Mole.. Celebrity Mole is better than nothing.. but it's more fun working with normal, average (but fairly intelligent) people. I liked that about the Mole. It wasn't just celebrities or good looking people. The money *really* meant something to all of them. There wasn't less of a time crunch, which means more time for observing subtlties. People had time to form relationships which affect their judgement, to see how people behave over extended periods of time. In the Celebrity Mole it's simply too short to go as deep. Also the usual argument, the Celebs don't need the money as much so they play the game somewhat differently. And mostly.. more people. More people from varied backgrounds helps. Especially if all the people look like they could really use the money.

I didn't really like it. I still wish the original Mole would return :(

I think bringing back Corbin and Stephen was stupid. And Tracy Gold? And the Cosby girl? They haven't done ANYTHING in years. "Celebrity"?

And I thought the model girl was a tennis player every time I read her name before the show. Wasn't till they introduced her that I knew she was a model. Oops.

I'll still watch...but it might prove too painful... We'll see.

By definition since you and know who they are and have never met them means that they are a celebrity. Doesn't matter how long ago they did anything you heard about, just that you know of them. In fact Tracy has been on TV since 1976 and Keisha got a degree in Sociology in 2001.

Corbin and Stephen add in a little extra bit of "I wanna win" just because they didn't win last time and were fooled by a girl.

Posted by: Sinuralan

Well I had no idea who any of them are, except for Stephen Baldwin and Dennis Rodman.

The name Angie Everheart seemed familiar but I couldn't have told you what she did. Corbin I only knew from the previous celebrity mole.. heck, even the host guy I only know from the last mole..

Tracy is still kind of cute though. Never heard of her before though.

Posted by: dr_mal

Tracy's gotta be the mole. Did you see her reaction when Stephen was asking her point blank if she was? Refusing to answer anything he asked. Plus, that one "gold"fish on the wall at the dinner party was a clue. And as far as I could tell, she didn't do anything to help the team make money.

The only celebrity I hadn't ever heard of before was that Ananda chick that got executed. Like other posters, I recognized the name Angie Everhart, but couldn't've told you what she looked like.

This edition of Celebrity Mole will be a good warmup to a "real" Mole. I hope. I missed out on the first one, but really enjoyed Mole 2.

Posted by: Frylock

What really is missing is Anderson. He was the best.

I think the fact that they are lesser celebrities makes it more fun. They seem to enjoy it more. I mean, what has Mr. Cooper done lately? Rodman only did it to get back in the public spotlight...

For those who don't know of Angie Everheart, she is/was a "supermodel" and used to be married to Sylvester Stallone and has dated Howard Stern. She was also in Playboy a year or so ago, and I highly recommend you check that out. :)

This was the first episode of the Mole I had ever seen and I have to say I was impressed.

I was a little dissappointed with one of the "eye-candy" women being kicked off but overall I was very impressed with the show. It seems very well thought out and I think very well done.

After watching it I definitely set up a Season Pass.

And don't forget "Tales from the Crypt: Bordello of Blood" with Dennis Miller and Corey Feldman.
