Once again, I think I recognize her. But, I can't find any credit, even on my favorite IMDB.COM.
So if you saw it, and have a guess, clue, what ever, chip in with it.
TIA

I thought it was Aimee Mann but end credits only listed Foo Fighters. Not sure if that was for the end song though and I don't remember any other music in the show.

Amateur by Aimee Mann from the I'm With Stupid CD

Thanks. I thought it was Aimee. I even got up and threw in my Lost in Space cd while searching the web for confirmation. After listening to the show's ending song again, I was less positive. Lost in Space is pretty dark, at least compaired to what I was hearing on Ed.
My GF keeps laughing at me every time I hear a song on a TV show and I tell her, man that sounds like Mann... looks like I was correct ... this time!

I searched the credits for the artist, but no luck. I'll check out Aimee.

Here's a link to Tower Records , and the I'm with Stupid CD. Amateur has a playable link. It's short, but does sound like the song.
I don't have that CD, but will likely pick it up soon.

WOW - guess you guys are the SOAK!
I just downloaded the "I'm with Stupid" cd from iTunes. I've not heard of her before, but I know her voice. Where have I heard her before?? I don't recognize any of her songs.

I didn't see Magnolia. Did she have a popular song from that movie?
AGH! You added the soundtrack listing while I was answering :o
I'm off to see if any of those tunes ring a bell.

Okay, I must admit I thought i knew who it was but I actually went to www.stuckeyville.com to verify the song in their forums and then listened to a clip to make sure it was the correct one.
Jennifer - The most likely place you have heard Mann before was in the band Til Tuesday where she sang the song Voices Carry
"Hush, Hush. Keep it down now. Voices Carry"
She has done lots of great work since then but it is still what she is probably most recognized for.

Thanks, Maui. I do recogize that song - I felt so out of the loop not knowing her work.:)

Hey Jen, you can also check out her web site Aimee Mann.
Her songs have been used on a few TV programs. According to a thread in her forum, she did a song on West Wing.
I first became aware of her when I saw Magnolia, and have been a fan since. It's an interesting movie too. It is on my list of flicks to see again, but I remember being somewhat drained after seeing it. Read some background before seeing it. There is an interesting story behind it.
Maui, thanks for putting up the stuckyville link. But I still can't find a credit for that show.
