I don't think so. When I moved I walked through it again. I might have gone through too much though.

No. But it only takes about 20 minutes to re-do it.

Nope, and why are you reluctant to re-run Guided Setup? Just start the process when you know nothing is going to record for about 30 to 60 minutes.

I am reluctant because I do not have a phone line and hate taking my TIVO to a friends place to do it

You do not need a phone line to rerun guided setup. See this TiVo support article.
