Quote from Sci-Fi NewsWire:
quote:
Actor/director Stephen Furst told SCI FI Wire that he's proud of Dragon Storm, an upcoming SCI FI Pictures movie. "I just think it's a purely fun movie," Furst said in an interview. "It's great escapism. I can't even tell you how much fun I had doing this film."

Movie credit: "Directed by Steven Feuerstein."

Hmmm...that's what I call pride! :D

LOL, yeah that's real pride!

My husband was watching this (from recording) this morning, said it was pretty lame. I sat through about 15 minutes while I ate breakfast and would have to agree....

Yeah, I made it to the 13 minute mark on the TiVo ticker, and that was only brcause I couldn't believe what I was seeing...it hardly seemed possible that it was THAT bad, but it was.

This may be the worst Sci-Fi "Original" I've ever tried to watch...

I watched the whole thing. Parts of it (small parts) were interesting. I would not, however, recommend it to anyone else. Typical of "made for TV movie" from yesteryear. <shrug>

This would have been an ok movie if it had no predecessors. But unfortunately it fell way short of being justifiable to have been made. :(

The dragons were pretty cool; the rest... well....

I guess I'll just feel sorry for John Rhys-Davies for being typecast in a "fantasy movie". I missed the show if it's already aired. If it hasn't aired yet, I'll be sure to find something else to do.

Don't feel sorry for John Rhys-Davies. He does alright an has been for years. From poor B rated movies and TV shows and now Top grade A++ box offices hits. John Rhys-Davies will and has done them all.
John Rhys-Davies is an actors, Actor.

I watched this yesterday. Kept hoping it would get better, never did. If you haven't watched it yet don't bother.

I kept expecting to see the MST3K crew at the bottom of the screen. It was exactly the type of movie I'd expect to see on Saturday mornings, not on Friday nights...

(At least until the end of the month when I believe they stop airing reruns of MST3K on SciFi...)

I TiVo'd it... thought it was one of the Saturday Night Original Movie entrees though. I watched part way through Sunday until I got interrupted by the GF complaining about all the screaming etc...

I'll probably finish watching... well just because... but agree, don't expect much, and you'll be highly rewarded... :D

...except they'd probably just be sitting there in mute shock. :D

It's That bad ? I have it waiting on my HTPC........But if it's as bad as you guys say :p

The trailers for the movie did not like half bad..........But they never do, do they ? ;)

I haven't finished it, but unless you have something really pressing to do with your time, like darning some socks, or knitting a new scarf, go ahead and spend the time, decide for yourself.

It TV, it's a medieval costume fire breathing dragon king vs king princess peasant poacher romp in the woods. What do you expect?

Continuity is a little weak... IE: King dashes out of castle wearing crown, next scene he's crownless in the forest, and desperate for anything to barter with peasant poacher...

Ok, stayed up real late and watched this. My TiVo'd recording cut off just as the princess presents the forest wanderer the new bow.

Anything happen after that? Did they hook up?

And for those of you who watched it, what was the point of having the princess strip down to only some very unmedievel panties, and have the wanderer walk in? Just so she could take his drink, stand unabashedly naked in front of him, then simply send him out of the room.

What was the point? It's Angel Boris, former Playboy Playmate. That's the point. But I laughed out loud when I saw those panties.

Yes, I watched this all the way through. And yes, the hunter (who was barely recognizable as Maxwell Caulfield) and the princess engaged in some tonsil hockey at the end.
