My Niece and Her Husband Featured on 'MTV Cribs'

I got home this weekend to find out my wife had TiVo'd a show for me: MTV Cribs (which I never watch). Fortunately, my wife caught it in passing and recorded my niece, semi-famous skateboarder Jen O'Brien and her husband, famous skateboarder Bob Burnquist on the show. For those not familiar w/MTV Cribs, they go to the homes of the rich and/or famous and show off their home. It was really cool to see her on TV and this was the first time I'd "met" her husband -- he seems real nice. They even have an extensive skateboard park in their back'yard' (more like a few acres, including an organic produce farm.) From what I hear, Bob is even a character in a Tony Hawk video game.

I'll copy it off onto video tape for my little neighbor kid next door (who met Jen when she was here). This will really increase my stock with this kid. ;)

I saw that episode this week and was VERY impressed.

Something about their house/life just seemed so perfectly in sync with who they are. The backyard skate park was sweet as well as the organic farm.

The only thing that seemed missing to me was their extensive bong collection.

Did you see their music area?

Either way it was a nice, cozy house. I myself would love it(minus the whole vegan thing).

Hey, I'll have to catch this episode. I sort of swore off cribs after it started getting a little stale, but dang, I'd love to see my niece on Cribs. Of course she's four, so that'd be sort of a bizarre episode. But still! :D

I wouldn't know anything about that, but if true, let's hope my mom (her grandmother) doesn't find out. :eek:

I watched this episode. I loved it when they were both skating together at the end and he wiped her out by passing his board in front of hers. What a cute couple!
