I have the sony svr-2000. I recently upgraded the drive to a samsung 5400 120GB (SV1203N) and the drive vibrates too much. I have read that others have the same problem. The vibration is slight, so I don't think there is a problem with the drive. Just enough to be a little annoying.
Has anyone found a way to mount one of the decoupling devices (ie novibes) to a tivo like mine. I bought the "quiet feet", which work very well, but I still have to use one layer of mouse pad under the feet and still some very little vibration. I have the drive in a wood cabinet in my bedroom. I read on other sites that mounting with something like a no vibes will get rid of the vibration problem completely.
