family guy syndicated on cartoon network

I'm frustrated. I've been recording Family Guy from Cartoon Network for a long time and somehow they keep NOT showing the same handful of episodes. I wonder if I'm going to have to rent the DVDs just to see them.

I'm missing
12 Love Thy Trophy
23 There's Something About Paulie
29 The Thin White Line
32 One If By Clam, Two If By Sea
34 Death Lives
35 Lethal Weapons

I'm not interested in owning them--I just wanted to see them all so I started a checklist. I don't really understand why networks skip around so much and don't show some episodes. There are only 50 episodes total of Family Guy.

Thin White Line is coming up in the next couple weeks. I think I've seen all the rest in the past couple months that I have been watching them (except There's Something about Paulie doesn't sound familar). Maybe you need to check your season pass or to do lists to see if some these aren't getting recorded due to conflicts. With something like only 38 episodes or so and the show being on 5 days a week, they really only have less than two months of shows, so they'll get repeated a lot.

Sorry, just checked a different site than Fox's. I guess there are 50 episodes. Fox doesn't list quite a few, including all the ones you mentioned except Love Thy Trophy. How odd.

Hm. Wonder if there's a reason here (too politically incorrect?) -- it's actually only airing 3 times a week now and I have no conflicts. If one was shown and I missed it, it was during a power outage or some other unusual event, but odds are most of those just haven't been shown on Cartoon Network.

Love thy Trophy and Something About Paulie have been on in the last month. In fact, I just watched and deleted them less than 2 weeks ago.

Is the Thin White Line where Brian is the drug sniffing dog at the airport?

Hmm.... "Death Lives" episode was taped for me just a few weeks ago. I remember seeing it in my Family Guy Folder. I'll check when I get home to see what date it was on.

Excuse me, TAPED?!?

Whoa, calm down there, butch.

Obviously it was digitally recorded, otherwise it wouldn't be in a folder now, would it?

:: cough :: Don't yell at me! :)

I meant "recorded digitally via my PVR". :)

I've definitely caught all of those episodes at some point since Cartoon Network started running the series. So they must show them SOME times.
