Airnet install troubles - Guidance requested.

Hi.. I bought a Series 1 Tivo for my brother for XMas and didn't realize he didn't have a phone line at his house.. Oops. So I picked up an airnet card and NetGear MA401 card. Now I'm wishing I had just bought another turbonet card and a bridge. Here's where I am, and where I'm stuck.

I've flashed the card to the latest firmware.

I've installed the driver using the boot CD.

Took me a while to figure out that I couldn't enter my SSID in caps in the nic_install app, so I changed my ssid on the router to lower case.

WEP disabled. Access control disabled. SSID's match. Tried router on 108 Auto, g + b, and b only. Same results. Also tried "normal" and "failsafe." It's sitting with the cover off, about 3 feet from the router.

In each case I can watch the "Attached devices" on my router and see the tivo's mac address when it fires up.

I can watch it pull an ip address from DHCP.

I can't ping. Can't telnet. Can't FTP. (didn't do a whole port scan though.)

The wireless card worked fine in a laptop. My other tivo works fine on this same router (with a turbonet card cabled directly to the router.) I've also tried it with the other tivo disconnected.

I've attached a log (failsafe, dhcp). I noticed that it doesn't show any "recieved" messages like another log I saw. Any ideas?

Your help is much appreciated.

..Dave

I did a quick search on the Netgear MA401, but couldn't find an answer: does this card have a Prism chipset? Only cards with this particular chipset will work with the Airnet card.

Yep. It does. I used the bin files from the silicon dust site to flash the card.. There are others that are using this card too.
