Come on guys. Its horrible. And its old. There are new and cooler flash animations you could use.
Considering the amount of people that come here you need to freshen up your image.

Also, once you've clicked "skip intro" once (which doesn't do anything to speed up getting to the forum page), it should save that setting in your cookie so you don't have to watch the flash logo every time. (Every time that I forget to use the URL that goes straight to the forum page, that is...)

Toy Story 3 was already in production before the break-up. Their previous contract has language for coverage of sequels and how they would handle the financials. The breakup basically covers any new titles.

Disney can't ride the sequel game too long on their previous Pixar/Disney projects...so it'll be interesting to see what they come up with down the road. It's always been Pixar that's always stuck to getting the story right first, then of course creating great CG to enhance the story. Time will tell.

I hate flash animations about as much as I hate commercials or channel logos or shopping channels.

A bookmark as suggested above works fine for me. I had almost forgotten that there was a main page for the TiVo Community.

walters...Because their really is no use for an intro page like that. The AVS was something I tried and it kind of works, but not like I had envisioned.

OK, if you say so, then just redirect to /tivo-vb/. There really is no use for a splash screen on a website. They're almost as annoying as FBI copyright warnings.
