I am having a problem with guide data on one of my DTivos:
DTivo Thread

I have "theorized" on how I think the guide data is being stored and processed on the DTivo. I was curious if someone knew in reality it was being stored:

Basically my theory is this:

DTivo's recieve two different guide data feeds:

Feed A: DTV "cable" channel data (Bravo, AMC, HBO, etc)
Feed B: My specific locals.

Then Tivo need to process those two feeds:

Data Table A-1: DTV Data Stored by Channel/Time.
Data Table B-1: Local Data Stored by Channel/Time.

Data Table A-2: DTV Data stored by Title
Data Table B-2: Local Data stored by Title

My problem lies that I think table B-2 is not being populated any more, due to some error.

I don't know, just theorizing. I am probably going to end up re-doing my upgrade this weekend any how. It is just the programmer in me.
