Search the mtv2 listings and set your SP for all episodes to make sure you don't miss any (not sure if they repeat or what). Is Fri/Sat/Sun.

Thank's for the tip! That series rocks!

Are these new episodes?

Also Aeon Flux! I've had a SP for B&B since I got my Tivo (late 2000) and all it has gotten in the past is the movie. This is the chance to do an SP for it if they do this a lot.

These were not new episodes... they were episodes mostly from the last two seasons of the series (1996 and 1997).

Damn! I missed it. I don't have a Tivo handy right now. Are there any future showings of this listed? I checked out MTV.com and the TV listings in Yahoo & couldn't find future episode listings.

B&B have returned to the MTV2 schedule, this time on a somewhat more regular basis. Check your TiVo or mtv2.com for upcoming airings, starting this Saturday, Feb. 28 at 11 am ET.

Hmmmm.... I have a wishlist setup for this but it didn't catch it. I'll have to check.

Perhaps your wishlist is searching for "BEAVIS AND BUTTHEAD"? Note that the show is officially called "Beavis and Butt-head" (with the hyphen), not "Beavis and Butthead".

A Title wishlist for "BEAVIS" is probably sufficient to pick up the show and unique enough to not pick up unrelated shows. Not even the Twilight Zone episode called "Mr. Bevis". :)

Hey -- maybe I can see the episode that produced the quote in my sig!

That was indeed the problem and I realized it as soon as I saw it at home. I'm happily recording along now.

I have a SP set for these showings but I get the beginning of the show cut off or the end at times. Then when I try and set it a few mins before or after I get overlap issues. Any idea why or a way to fix it?

Unfortunately, MTV, MTV2 and VH1 are notorious for starting and ending programs a minute or two early or late. And it's totally unpredictable. So the only way to not miss part of the program is to pad by 2 minutes on each end. Of course this may cause conflicts that would not otherwise occur, and even conflict with itself when episodes appear back-to-back, so I just set the padding manually when I see episodes in the To Do List and know there will be no conflicts. For contiguous blocks of B&B, I usually set up a manual recording for the full block, and pad by 2 minutes on each end.

Another option is to set-up what is called "semi-soft padding". To do it completely would require 4 separate season passes (one with padding on both ends, one with padding at the beginning, one with padding at the end, and one with no padding). At least 3 of these would have to be wishlists. But even this doesn't work with back-to-back episodes.
