Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn broken up...

We've got issues with the The Late Late Show's guide data:

CBS has gotten in the habit of starting the show at 1:37:30, which has got to be annoying people who try to record The Late Show with David Letterman to consistantly miss the last 30 seconds of Dave's ending. I'm not even sure if guide data can get specific to the half-minute...

Furthermore, when CBS has golf coverage on the weekend, CBS Sports also has a 15 minute highlight package that runs in the middle of The Late Late Show... Craig usually responds to this by starting a joke, then when the music starts playing him out yelling "Punchline in 15 minutes!" because it falls right in the middle of his show. This results in the guide data looking like this:

12:37 am: Late Late Show
12:55 am: PGA Golf Highlights
1:10 am: Late Late Show

Now, here's the thing. From TiVo's point of view, the 12:37 am Late Late Show that runs for 18 minutes is being repeated at 1:10 am in the 42 minute slot because they have the same guide description and original air date. Therefore, the 28 Day Rule kicks in and prevents the conventional season pass from picking it up.

Solution: All Late Late Show season passes should be set to a "Keep at most..." of at least 2, and should be set to "Record All (with duplicates)" to ensure proper functioning in split-episode situations.
