Reproduceable Error Code

I'm not sure if the Tivo people check here for bugs, but I found a way to always bring up an error code (#32). Here's how:

- Go to "Pick Programs to Record -> Search by title", and do a search for any show.

- Go to View Upcoming Showings, and select one of the showings.

- Press the Live TV button

- Press the left arrow button to go back to the episode description, then press the left arrow button again. You'll get an error message.

I don't know if this is considered a bug or not, but I just thought I'd let you know how to reproduce it.

Hey, it does. On my Series 2 SA anyway, didn't give any error on my DirecTiVo.

I couldn't duplicate it on my SAT-T60 DirecTivo, either.

Yup. Clearly going to live TV wipes the the last database query to some degree, such that when you try to go back to the view upcoming list, it no longer is present in memory.

Which brings up an interesting question, where *should* pressing Left twice after jumping to Live TV from the depths of a menu bring you?

And of course, who would ever find such a thing? :)

Not on my HDVR2, but it goes back to DirecTV central, not pick programs to record

I couldn't get it to happen. It just went to the previous screen.

Dr. Thodt, do you have a Series 2 stand-alone? (It apparently doesn't happen with DirecTivos). Also, are you hitting the left arrow twice (or more) from "Live TV"?
