:o
...oh, sorry...anyway, did anyone watch? At least in Hawaii they had an interesting last game...this one was a sleeper, and they ruined The Mole 2 for me to boot! I didn't catch Mole 2 after they started it back up, and was waiting for it to come to GSN. But noooo, they gotta go and show who the Mole was! I saw it coming and tried to FF real quick, but didn't make it. Thanks..ya dummies.
Anyway, they have gone way out of their way to make everyone look like the mole. Sheesh, come on, leave a few good clues lying around and we'll take it from there.
I kept the first show and went through almost the whole thing in slow motion looking for clues, taking notes, trying to have some fun with this. That lasted...one show.
Anyway, although my gut still says Rodman, Angie is a nose behind because she's had the least amount of suspicion brought upon her.
My gosh, I just can't wait till next week! Well, actually, yeah I can, but I'll still watch.

I'm still voting for Dennis
Posted by: laria
For a while I thought it was Mark, but now I think that he is just trying way too hard to make it look like he is the mole, so I don't think it's him. I think it's Angie now. Or Dennis. :) I'm going to go with Angie I guess. ;)

Any guess I may have as to who the Mole is would be less than useless. No doubt any significant clues have been edited out.
However, I'm voting that Mark Curry never get another job in show business ever again.
I was hoping and praying that Rodman was going to beat his ass over that whole leaky boat challenge.
Mole or not he is a complete ass.

This was the first episode of The Mole I ever watched all the way through. Of course, most of that was because I thought they were going to reveal the Mole, but also because it was somewhat interesting. Although Rodman would drive me nuts if I were in a competition with him.

Mark's trying too hard.
Dennis would be too obvious.
So my guess is w/Angie.
If I was Rodman, I woulda kicked Mark's behind after the boat fiasco!

I know who the Mole is! They gave it away during the last 5 minutes of the show.
Spoiler Alert! (highlight to read)
Angie's the Mole
Why, you ask?
Spoiler Alert! (highlight to read)
At the end of this week's episode, look at the preview for next week's episode where Ahmad says that in each episode, there were hidden clues.
The first shot is of Dennis running into the maze. There are 7 "Wanted" posters.
The second shot is of the candles on the table. There are 7 candles.
The third shot is of Angie in the SNUBA gear. Look at the upper left of the helmet. It's number 7.
Angie's lucky number? 7. It was her tattoo.
Angie's diary number? 7.
Number of dogs Angie picked up during the Donkey game? 7.
Of course, that could be a red herring... but I'm sticking with it. :)

Skittles, are you related to Corbin? :p ;)

No. "Skittles" has 8 letters, while "Corbin" has 6.

Ah! You'd have us THINK that! But the AVERAGE of 6 & 8 is SEVEN! Ah-ha! :p
Posted by: bkmunroe
I think all the 7s are just a red herring and simply represent the number of potential victims that start the game.
I think Dennis is the Mole. There have been several clues, but I think the biggest was just before the start of the maze game. There's a tight closeup of Rodman's face, he waves 2 fingers back and forth and then gives a thumbs up. The 2 fingers could signify Celebrity Mole 2 and the thumbprint is the mole's trademark.

Mark is the worst mole ever.

For some reason, i have liked this one more than Celebrity Mole Hawaii. It will never be as good as the original Mole with real people & not celebrities, but I'm less bothered by this one. Maybe I had one celebrity edition to get used to the idea... it bothered me to watch the Hawaii one because it wasn't Anderson Cooper, and I couldn't get used to the idea.
I'm entertained by Dennis & Mark. Angie is just annoying.
I hope she isn't the Mole.

You've convinced me, nice work Skittles!

I still want a real mole, where the contestants really want the money. If the money isn't truly very valuable to them, then there's no counter-balance keeping them from throwing challenges and acting super-suspicious to try and make people think they're the mole.

Frankly, this show sucks. I loved the real Moles but this celebrity version is worse than the first one in Hawaii. It's just not interesting when the contesetants don't seem to care as much about the game. The games are not interesting and celebrities seem like they are there only for a nice vacation.

I don't have the exact numbers and could totally be wrong, but, what does not make sense to me is the money. It seems that the "potential" prize of all the games are worth more than the $250,000 total prize pot they have.
I wish I still had the last episode saved cause that is where it dawned on me.
The pot stands at $222,000 now. That is only $28,000 less then the max. That is a terriable job by the mole.

A few things:
If Angie is the Mole, I think it will be pretty lame. They had Frederique as the Mole in the first celeb edition and then if Angie is this time, it will be obvious they are trying to keep the eye candy around for the whole run by making sure they can't get executed.
I don't know about the max prize being $250,000 because if you go back to the beginning, they have lost way more than $28,000. In fact, they lost more than that just in the last episode alone, with Dennis opening the briefcase.
I was disappointed in the final game. In Hawaii, it ws very involved and this one just sucked.
Ahmad Rashad is no Anderson Cooper.
Regular people are way better contestants than celebrities. No idea why ABC wants to keep doing celeb versions but not regular versions.

The clip they showed of next week's episode: Any significance to the order they're sitting on the couch? From left to right, they have the executed players in order of being kicked off. Then in an "after the reveal" scene, it showedSpoiler Alert! (highlight to read)
Mark, Angie, then Dennis
at the very end of the couch.
IIRC, they reveal the mole first, then the winner, then the final executed player. Have they given us the result?

Well I have thought it was Angie since the first episode so i am sticking with her. I think the network is obvious in picking the eye candy as the mole to guarantee she will be in at the end. who knows though I may be wrong.

They would have adjusted the prize money to not go over the $250k mark is all.
And I agree about the last game, it was awful in comparison. I told my wife before they did it that I sure hope they had as good a final game as in Hawaii....they didn't. :(

You hit the nail on the head. I got sick of seeing every contestant throw challanges to make it seem like they were the Mole.

I was so pissed off they kept the final results for yet another episode that I won't be watching it. Ahmad is a terrible host. The celebrities are not very good. The games are terrible.
When there is a new (old) host and they start using regular folks in the game I'll watch the series again.

They're following the same format that they did for Hawaii.

That's the way they do it every year. The next-to-the-last episode contains the last game(s) and the final quiz, and the last episode is the results show.

If this is the case, it totally defeats the purpose of the game. In the original installments of The Mole, the potential prize was $1 million and each time they didn't get the money in a game, that came off of the $1 mil. However, if they are adjusting the amounts of the games in the celeb edition to get the ending amount close to a predetermined limit, then that completely undermines the purpose of the game. What incentive would anyone have to play hard for money if they are just going to make future games worth more in order to pick up the slack? I haven't really enjoyed the celebrity editions, mostly because of Ahmad Rashad. But if the money is also rigged, then you won't be finding me watching this anymore.

From the first show I thought it wat Dennis, now that number 7 thing above has me questioning my original guess.

I agree. But it's the only explanation I could come up with to explain the totals. They clearly don't add up to $250k, but I too thought that was the maximum amount that could be won.
Posted by: lander215
Straight from ABC's web site:
"In the end, only one Player will walk away with all of the money in the pot, which could total up to $250,000!"
So the only explanation is they increase/decrease "pots" as the game goes along to make it as large as possible without going over $250k.

great...now this show is more wortheless than it used to be

I certainly wouldn't take the word of the website as fact. A lot of times web stuff is just marketing anyways. Also note the "could". It also "could" total $250,000 or $10,000. It sounds like they want to give the reader an idea of how much will be won.....hundreds....thousands...millions??
Posted by: devdogaz
The marketers also probably knew the outcome of the game before it aired, since I'm sure it was taped months ago. It would be easy to throw out a figure as a marketing tactic after the final tally is already known. It would be more interesting to go back to all the games and total up the amount that they could have potentially won.

I read out of what ABC says to mean simply that, the pot could be up to $250k, not "millions". In order to stay within those rules they would have to modify the rewards later on in the show if they'd won the early games. Which means they didn't have a set amount for the games during the show ahead of time, otherwise they'd have gone way over the $250k if they'd won them all.

I have to agree, this show is lame   . I'll watch the finale but then I think it's no more Celebrity Mole for me. Stupid show. Bring back the real Mole and I'll check it out.

I've been thinking that Angie was the mole since the first episode, so I'll stick to it. The only thing that has me doubting it is that, the last time, the supermodel (Frederique von Honeypants, or whatever her name was) was the Mole, right?
