I think it is from her second most recent album.

Since she's only had 2 major market releases, it's easier to say "her first album." :) (The album is named "No Angel.")

Y'know, I wish they'd list the songs they play on that show somewhere, like their webpage. There are many episodes in recent memory that I've come away saying "what was that song?"

Dido is getting some attention. "Here With Me" was also in the movie "Love Actually" and is on the CD soundtrack. It's my favorite song on the entire CD.

I'm not entirely sure that was her singing it, though--it sounded different.

Yeah, it was her. I recognized her voice immediately. I'd lay money on it.

Her voice isn't that distinctive to me--probably just a different mix than I've heard before.

Yeah, I was thinking, "What, is she an alien?" Then I thought, "Sure, why not. Hospitals are great places to hang out if you're an alien with healing powers.
