My friend just got me to watch the Newlyweds, and after a few episodes, I am hooked. I really think it is the I Love Lucy of our time! What I am trying to figure out is:
Do you think any of it is scripted or planned? It does not seem so to me, but could something that is so entertaining be genuine? Why does a search on Nick and Jess bring me right to porn sites?

Is this the wrong place for this thread? Will the mods move it over? What is the meaning of... oops. sorry....

I don't know if its scripted, but, when you're taping two people constantly, you've got a lot of material to work with. No doubt the producers play up the dumb blonde angle for entertainment value. (not that JS helps the issue...)
