Thought it was pretty neat, hold your mouse over a post, a mouse over will appear with the post contents. No idea if that would wreak havoc on your database lookups etc but just a thought.

Sorry to say that we have much more traffic and because of it, it would take more server time to pull the data and also the bandwidth to serve it would increase. We have looked into it, but at this time, it is not good for larger sites.

Dragging up an old thread...

By far the most annoying feature of vB3. I just have my mouse pointing nowhere in particular and bam this huge yellow box shows up telling me part of the FIRST post in a topic. Chances are if the topic interested me, I would have read the whole topic. For most topics I'm interested in, I'd want to see the subsequent postings, not the first. And the yellow box goes away after 10-15 seconds, far too short to actually read the message.

And yes it significantly increases the size in KB of HTML that has to be downloaded.
