i'm upgrading my network to wireless g. transfer speeds now are nothing short of "sucking". i'd love to use the g equipment on the tivos instead of the b. have they come out with a firmware update yet that will allow this? i've been off the forum for a while.

no
But you can in the mean time use 802.11g Ethernet Bridges and and Ethernet USB Adaptor to do the trick ( it will be expensive but it will work ) Just make sure you buy a decent USB Ethernet Adaptor like the Linksys USB200M that actually link at fasterd than the bus speed of USB 1.1 thus giving you the ability to transfer Best in better than real time (not by much.. but it's better) there's a few other threads on it.. do some searches for USB200M and i'm sure you'll find it.
