Chris messed up again! Repeatedly!

Very good ep! Of course you can't go wrong with Alyssa Milano dressed like a genie. :)

Posted by: Graymalkin

And no problem getting her belly button past the censors, either! Heck, the WB standards people probably asked, "Can't you get those harem pantaloons down lower?"

I wouldn't have to think very long to decide my first wish! :)

She lost me when she cut her hair. :(

Hair? She has hair?

I wish Paige would tone down her lipstick.

I was thinking the same thing. She's very hot but the lipstick is distracting.

Pheobe was hot hot hot :D

Not a bad episode.

I'm with you on this but with the genie outfit, her hair was a non-issue. :)

There are more tattoo's on that show than in a Daytona Beach biker bar.

It's a complete turn off for me, I don't care how beautiful the woman (or man). I just don't "get" body art.

Posted by: cptodd

this is all fine but what did you folks think of the episode????? I thought it was weak.

Posted by: Graymalkin

The plots and backstory are ALL weak and inconsistent. It requires one of those 200-foot cranes they use to build skyscrapers to suspend the amount of disbelief required to watch this show.

Posted by: cptodd

but they used to be better. I don't mind suspending belief. this IS a story about witches after all. it is just that the stories have gotten so silly of late.

Agreed. During the height of the Cole stuff I thought the show was really good. But now it's just silly. (Not that I've stopped watching, though!)

Nether have I! :D

It is silly, but it's fun. It's one of those few shows that is lighthearted and fun.

What's interesting to watch right now is how they are hiding Holly's pregnancy until it can be brought into the storyline. Like the episode where her head is put on a cabinet. The hiding behind Rose and Alyson, carrying things etc etc. I saw her last week on a talk show and she's 7 month's along. She also said that she hopes the viewers can put reality aside when it is brought out in the show that she is 4 months along but looking 7. :)

Agreed! Whenever they show the previews for the next show I groan, but I still enjoy them.

I believe someone previously mentioned that the show gets higher ratings when it's being silly, so it has shifted from being slightly silly to very silly.

From “Election Night”: Well, pretty much as I predicted, except that the Silly party won. I think this is largely due to the number of votes cast.

I liked the shows when they were more substantive (as if a show about three sister witches in SF called the charmed ones could be substantive?). It seemed to take it's slow descent just after Pru died. But at least they keep the story moving every 3rd or 4th episode.

Posted by: JimSpence

But, who knew that a TV show, with a somewhat juvenile name, made on the same premise as a movie, with the same name, would take off the way it did. It also, had it's ups and downs. The show? BtVS of course.

I agree, that's when it started to go downhill. I always enjoy the show, regardless of the silliness, but the episodes I really look forward to are the ones that advance the Chris/Wyatt/Leo story-lines. I think that the sisters need a more long term adversary to make the show work better for me, but if the ratings are higher as is than they were when it was more serial, this may never happen. :(

Well, we do have a new "big bad" in
Spoiler Alert! (highlight to read)
Gideon.

This is only a spoiler if you haven't seen "The Legend of Sleepy Halliwell".

Posted by: cptodd

Well if the silliness keeps it on air I can wait for the few episodes that push it forward.

Yeah, I know that Gideon looks like he might be the next "big bad," but I thought that they were going to do that with the witch right after Wyatt was born, and they didn't. I do hope that the sisters don't defeat Gideon too quickly.
