Add or Replace?

Hiya,
Just recently purchased a TiVo second hand. It's a HDR31201 30 gig single drive and is kinda noisy (I can hear it at night). I also just purchased a samsung fluid bearing 120gig hard drive, which I had planned to add to the existing drive. But I was wondering if people thought perhaps I should replace the 30 with the 120 to extend the life of the unit, and to quiet it down.

Anyone have any input?

If I were in your position, I would replace.

I 100% agree with stevel.. That old 30GB drive is just a ticking timebomb, and you really don't gain that much space by leaving it in there.
