I have a SA hdr112 that the modem is fried. I have tried to get updates using external US Rob sportster 568603 and method described in modem success thread from tivocommunity with no success. I have sent listed commands to modem using hyperterminal (with and without the WT variable),tried all possible dipswitch settings (8 switches),and dialed with prefixes ranging from ,#396 to,#311. The Tivo will dial using the modem but always returns the service not answering message. Any suggestions? Has anyone been able to connect using USR sportster 56k?
