Frasier Finale

All the talk of the "Sex and the City" finale and Angie's thread about Ross and Rachel got me to thinking about "Frasier". While I no longer consider it "Must-See-TV" and I've missed a bunch since "24" premiered, I've invested a lot of time in the show and the characters and will miss it.

What do you want for the finale? It would be nice if Frasier finally found the love of his life. I think my dream for the finale would be that he moved back to Boston and the last scene saw him walk into Cheers. My wife and I both think he may end up back with Lilith, possibly.

Thoughts?

While this has been done already, ala Bob Newheart, I think it would be extremely appropriate. What a kick it would be to see Frasier walk into Cheers. Even better if Sam, Norm, Carla & Cliffy were 'surprised' to see him. Hmm, well maybe not. That kind of ending leaves too much left open and would be almost a lead-in to another series...hmm, Cheers?

Maybe just a shot of him coming down the steps and walking onto the Cheers set. That would be enough to stir the strings of a nostalgic heart.

That would work for me! I've spent the past 11 years waiting for "Cheers" to come back, even though I know it will porbably never happen. The mini-reunion on "Frasier" a couple of years ago was OK, but no Sammy and no Cheers just didn't make it right. I know a new series won't happen, but I'd think they'd all have some free time to appear in the "Frasier" finale.

I think it is due to air the week after the "Friends" finale, IIRC.

I believe that speculated wedding will be Martin and the babysitter (who's name escapes me)

I just want one thing... to finally see Maris. It can be an actress, a CGI character, or even a painting. But it'd be nice to finally, at the absolute last minute, see Maris.

I want Frasier to hook up with Roz. I know it won't happen but I think they would be happy together.

I'd just like to see Frasier be happy and satisfied with who he is. It seems that lately he's really grown insecure about everyone around him being in a relationship while he is not.

It's a good show, used to be a great show, and it's time for it to say goodbye. I'll watch the finale but definitely won't be sad to see it go.

Didn't Frasier hook up with Roz once last year and they both decided to stay friends?

I think Frasier will not get married by the end of the show or they would have developed a love interest for him by now. I would love to see him slumped over in Cheers and wake up and it was all a dream!! Oh wait, that has been done before!! LOL

Yup, that was pretty good. The final episode of Becker had two such comments. Took me a minute to catch both but they were well worth it.
