i can't believe nobody is talking about the bachelorette from last night. i couldn't believe she picked who she did. what's expecially bad is the way she was talking with the other guy when they were on the couch. she so led him on. anyway, the guy she picked will end up treating her like dirt. that guys got some skeletons in his closet...you can just tell.

ahh... I think she was truly conflicted. I think she meant everything she said to Matthew when she said it.

Meredith was the most real person ever on that show, her little breakdown the night before... I really don't think she knew how she was going to decide until shortly before she did.

They seemed rather authentic and the first pair of fools to go on tv looking for love to realize that it is crazy, it is a total leap of faith and rushing to the alter isn't the smartest move... She didn't expect a ring and she knew that going in with Ian, she picked him because she was following her heart...

I would have picked Ian too, Matthew was to 'Ken Doll' for me...

I didn't realize she had a breakdown last night. I thought she was confident in her decision, saying that she knew who she was in love with.

After her date with Matt, she had a little mini breakdown, crying, saying she wasn't going to do it, she just couldn't do it... was crying during an interview that she had no idea what do to, she doesn't want to choose, blah blah, it will hurt someone so much... she was pretty freaked out for a while...

but the next day- after she was dressed up- she seemed pretty at peace with her choice.

I think she made a huge mistake, and will regret it in a few months, but creative editing really gives us no idea what it was really like to be there.
That, and I think every woman wants a little unknown. If she had kids from a previous marriage, or was a little older I think the outcome may have been different.

I got the feeling that the breakdown was more about hurting a nice guy rather than being truly conflicted--at least I hope so for Ian's sake. Its gotta hurt to hear how much she was into Matthew.

Don't forget that the "After the Final Rose" show is on tonight. It seems like the regular Bachelorette SP picks it up.

I can't believe I got sucked into this show - I hadn't watched one before. I had been rooting for Ian for many episodes. He just seemed much more the guy for her than the others. Matthew seemed like he was everything she thought she *should* want. She always called him "secure," and she feels safe with him. But he had no personality! He said all the "right" things, but he's so serious that she would have gotten bored of him pretty quickly.

I did feel terrible for him - in the end she really led him on but I know the show is set up that way and she probably did feel those things when she said them.
