Moved my SA Tivo from a box in the basement to the kitchen TV (Dtivo replaced it) Its a samsung TV, I can get the Peanut remote to turn on and off the TV, but volume isn't working properly. On the samsucg remote you can press and hold the volume button and it will raise or lower the volume. With the Tivo remote holding the button does nothing, you have to press it repeatedly to get the volume where you want it.

Minor issue, but does anyone have a suggestion? I have tried all the codes that Tivo suggested and replaced the batteries.

There isn't anything that you can do, the tivo remote has the wrong protocol for the samsung tv. Other remotes such as UEI made universal remotes from OFA/RS had the same problem, using setup code 0060 in the UEI remote gave the same effect, non repeating volume. Only newer UEI remotes such as the popular OFA URC-6131 have preset code with the right protocol, the code is 0702.
