Turbonet will only work in Series 1 units.. The 810H is a Series 2 model. The only way to add ethernet to that unit is a usb-ethernet adapter.

ok - thanks - and how does ftp work once I install a usb/ethernet adapter?

you have to get a bash prompt first... then you can install a ftp dameon

then you use a ftp client, tell it to connect to the ip of your tivo, and then viola!
