So what's the deal with Mac killing her husband? When was this revealed?

It was many years ago. It's been mentioned periodically just so we don't forget about it. I can't remember any specifics though. It either led to her drinking problem or was the event that made her realize she had a drinking problem. They're tied somehow.

Now we're going to have to deal with Mac's personal problem. The show needs to get out of thier personal lives and back in the courtroom.

Plus you can't blame Webb for not wanting to deal with Mac's problems, he just got back from outer-space fighting the Zindi. What does she expect!

Dude, I'm watching this week's ER, and Webb's cheating on Mac! She's dating Dr. Corday!!!

How does he find the time to go undercover for the CIA, head the House of Representatives, get his arse kicked by the Xindi, date Mac *AND* cheat on her with Dr. Corday??
