I just finished going through the entire show listing by title. Here are the more interesting shows I selected for recording:

A date with Anna Kournikova
Sports Illustrated’s 40th Anniversary Swimsuit Edition
Sports Illustrated: Swimsuit Issue 2000
Sports Illustrated: Swimsuit Issue 2001
Sports Illustrated: Swimsuit Issue 2002
Sports Illustrated: Swimsuit Issue 2003
Las Vegas: Adults Only
The Router Workshop
Discoveries This Week
Christina Aguilera
The Carpenter’s Shop
The Happy Hooker
Adults Only: The Secret History of the Other Hollywood
Tripping the Rift

As I list these, I realize I may come across as a bit of a pig. But these are just shows that I would have had no idea existed but for painstakingly going through every show in the guide. What you don’t see are the other shows I have in my to do list that reflect a much more balanced persona.:)

You know, I love doing this - I always do it the week after Thanksgiving - I go to Search by Title, put in A and start picking Christmas specials we might want to see!
Guess I ought to try it other times of the year. It always amazes me how much stuff there is out there that I'm interested in, but had no idea there was a TV show about it!
And no, I don't think you're a pig:D

I have had a wishlist SP out for over a year for this. I sure hope it doesn't suck.

Lately I've been doing this with movies from my premium channels. I'm moving in about a week and I'm not sure yet whether I'll pick up any premium channel package where I'm going.

I just went through and chose about 10 movies to record over the next week. What I do is go to the subcategories I like the best, and start with 0 (the number zero). That makes sure I list everything, including the movies that start with numbers.

I'm gonna have to check out some of the titles that Thaed mentioned tho... Routers are HOT! Rowr! :D

Hint... instead of an 'A', start with '0'.

Yes, zero is better than 'A' to start. There's lots of shows that start with numbers.

Let's see... "Scantily clad women" and "working with wood"...

no, "pig" isn't what first came to mind. :D

Wow, how long did it take to go through the entire list of titles. I would be curious to know the total count also.

Not sure about the total count, but I made it from 0 to Zed in an hour. It's probably the 4th or 5th time I've done this since December. If you have a lot of interests, it's the way to go.

No really, I'm into more than woodworking and girls! Honest!

I do it once every few months to remind me of things that I may want to record, but have slipped my mind. It takes less than an hour while doing other things and often results in TV goodies.

I've never done the full alphabet but I have picked a couple of letters and gone through the list. I have found some interesting shows I would never have known about.
