Ok, time to choose who you think is getting whacked in Soprano's 5th season. Vote in the poll but also post your choices in the thread so you can brag if you're proven right!

Also, there is an interesting article with odds posted at msnbc.

I had to leave a bunch of people out (And go with who i found more likely), but you can also write in votes for:

I added Melfi to my list of possibles. Person I would most like to see whacked is Janice. In fact, I'd pay.

I could see Chris doing that. As much of a screwup as he is the "kid" is all man... At least twice he got shot at by more then one punk and reacted quickly to be the killer instead of the dead... that's impressive.

Just and addendum.. I think Melfi's going to get it because someone who wants to get back at Tony finds out who she is. I don't think Tony has anything to do with it directly.

And how about this: One of those undercover FBI agents also getting it from the crossfire when Adriana gets hit? Imagine the backlash.

Somebody please kill Melfi! I hate hate her character and her . slow . speach . pattern. . . Drives me nuts; I always FF through her segments. :)

I love Jonny Sack's character. What great tension he adds to the story with Tony. I hope he stays.

I wonder if Tony will discover Chris' drug habbit...and whack him, or at least give him a really bad LIMP. There were a few close calls for Chris in the last couple seasons. Maybe his luck will run out this season...or maybe he'll make it through to the MOVIE?

I wonder if Junior will go the way of Tony's mom this season due to his declining health?

I can't wait for this season to begin. My wife thinks I'm nuts; she never got hooked.

Wasn't the drug problem already hashed out last season? I don't recall seeing him using after getting out of treatment, but it's certainly a storyline that could open up again. Heck, the Soprano-style intervention was one of the highlights of last season. :)

No I probably wouldn't be shocked if he got wacked. They kind of screw with your head with these clips. Pauly, however is another good possibilty.

And the addition of steve buscemi should definitely make this show better.

Adriana is the safe bet and I want to say Paulie also, but I think he's getting whacked every season and yet somehow pulls through.

Exactly why I think he's setting himself up for his own demise. He'll try, fail, and everyone else will realize that he's the one that's "gotta go". Too bad, since I like his character - it lends a sort of pensive strength to counter the Soprano family's wild temper.

Im am totaly excited about the new season starting. Sunday, I am spending the day re-watching the 4th season to have a fresh memory. I CAN NOT WAIT till 5pm on Sunday :D

It's really funny you said that, since I had a dream last night where exactly that happened, and I half expected that to happen today, but that's not where the story line went this week. But in my dream, it was done at the same time by 'the other side', and not by the family for the expected reasons. But I seriously doubt they would remove one of those two people this early in the season. The other one is pretty expendable.

Adrianna is my vote. I was thinking that "Chrissy" was going to go out along with her but someone else posted an even more interesting scenario: Chrissy pulls the trigger on AID.
