I am attempting to upgrade my single drive HDVR2 to a 2 drive unit. I want to save my recordings so I was going to use:
UPGRADE CONFIGURATION #3: From: Any Single Drive TiVo To: New A and New B Drive |or| New Single Larger A Drive

However, I cant figure out what a character is in the command line. The line is as follows:

Command to copy/expand from single drive to new larger A drive and new B drive:
mfsbackup -Tao - /dev/hdc | mfsrestore -s 127 -xzpi - /dev/hda /dev/hdb

I don't know what the straight line is between hdc and mfsrestore. The straight verticle line.

Can anyone assist me?

It's called 'pipe' and it's above your Return key.

Thank you. You know, I stared at the keyboard for a long time and could not find that.

Thanks
