I had a working SVR-3000 and bought an added drive from Weaknees. I followed the instructions and installed it. It booted fine and then I went to do some other things. 3 hours later I went back and it was stuck on the "start/welcome screens' I took out the Weaknees hard drive to see if that was the problem, but now my original drive won't boot and it cycling through the start screens.

HELP ME PLEASE. This is my 2nd TiVo because of problems and I need a working one ASAP. I don't have any more money to spend to buy yet another machine.

You wouldn't expect it to boot without the second drive now, it should reboot at 'almost there'. If the B drive has died, then things are pretty grim.

I think the only way forward is to contact Weaknees and let them help you fix things.
