HELP!

I have searched under every term i can think of and i dont know what to do.

Please help if you can

here is the scenario

i recently upgraded my tivo from a 20 gb drive A and a 40Gb drive B

to two brand new 80GB drives

The old drive B is gone so i dont have it to use.
I do have the old Drive A

Now here is what happened the Tivo got stuck in a rebooting cycle so i took both drives out and used Maxtor Power Max to check them

Drive A passed

Drive B failed and says it needs to be replaced.

Now is there anything i can do to use Drive A by itself in the mean time, Hopefully preserving my season passes and all that stuff as i just recently set them all up with in the last 2 days..

If anyone knows how to help me i would appreciate it.

incedentially, i did a DD copy and copied the bad Drive B to a brand new hard drive and it finished with no erros and the same amount of data in and out but it still wont boot.. when matched with the drive A

i dont know what to do.......

Thanks

Jeremy

Sadly not. You'll have to start from an existing backup file :(
