Stargate Episodes - Still Confused!

I use a WL for Stargate, FRO only.

I got an episode tonight.

Spoiler Alert! (highlight to read)
Since it's still Senator, it's behind the last two episodes. But I haven't seen it before, and it's dated 2004.

It was the one where they are revealing the existance of the gate to diplomats from 5 countries. lots of flashback style story telling.

Where did this episode come from?

That's a sixth-season episode. It didn't record on my FRO Season Pass, so I'm assuming that it's from syndication (i.e., not Sci-Fi, so my SP wouldn't get it), and that it didn't have any episode information (so a FRO WL would pick it up, not knowing whether it's FR or not).

I have an ARWL for FRO to pick up the new episodes on Sci-Fi. I have SPs on the syndication just for fun. Two different stations show the syndicated season 6 on the weekend.

My ARWL picked up the broadcast on my Fox station and the SP picked up the broadcast on their sister station (which used to be indy).

So there must have been something funky about the Guide data.

I used to watch Stargate regularly. I lost track of figuring out what episodes were new and what weren't and where they were and all that when it left Showtime. I gave up. I still don't watch it much because of that same reason. One day, when it's finally gone, I'll probably buy the DVD's. But I really hate when series get tossed around like that to the point you have no idea what's new, what's old, if it's still being made, or what you're even watching.

SciFi got the data right for this last half of S7. I have a FRO SG-1 and it has worked fine this bit.

(I still do have my manual recording just in case, but haven't needed it).

I'm a couple seasons back from being up to date, and since I don't like the show THAT much, I have my own filter. I delete all eps that don't have at least 3 stars on gateworld.net. I do try to watch them in sequence though to avoid confusion.
