I know this is a long shot since the show was cancelled well over a year ago, but I just realized I'm missing episodes 10 through 14. Did any of you archive this show when it was airing or still have it on your TiVo? If you could help me out I'm intererested in any format: dvd-r, svcd, vcd, vhs.

I have the unaired episodes in SVCD if you want to trade.

Odyssey 5 is currently showing on HDNet Thursday night at 10pm EST. This is channel 79 in the HD area of DirecTV.

Unfortunately, I don't have a HDTV or an HDTV-ready TV and I don't get that channel.

I have every episode from Showtime either on my TiVo or captured to my computer. Redundantly. Some letterboxed, some pan & scan. Some from Sony Pictures, some from Tristar.

Unfortunately a leak in my basement has forced me to separate my TiVo from my computer--further than I can string Firewire cable--so subsequent conversions are stalled. That, and the computer's hard drives being full. I am planning to re-burn what I have so far with variable bit rates, trying for three or four episodes to a 4.7 GB DVD-R, so I could part with what I've already burned, but I know I haven't gotten that far yet.

The painfully slow part of the process is the manual conversion of closed captioning to subtitles.

I would be happy to wait until you're in a position to start burning again. I'll drop you a PM and you can let me know when you're up and running and what you'd like for them. :)

I should probably go through the ones I have and see which ones I have letterboxed and which ones are pan & scan. I had originally downloaded all of my episodes, but a hard drive failure is what made me lose those missing five. I wish I hadn't been so lazy about burning them off.

I have been looking for the unaired episodes (tried downloading via bit torrent but not luck). Unfortunately I do not have episodes 10-14, but I would be willing to pay you for your time/trouble/media.

The only ones I have letterboxed are the ones Showtime aired in SD as letterboxed. They didn't show them all that way.

Man am I tempted to do then animorphic by merging the pan & scan's greater number of scanlines with the letterboxed version's longer lines, but I'm sure the result at the P&S edges would be too distracting.
