Well,

I went into Circuit City to get them to do a price match to my Fry's add today. But when the drive rang up it was only $109.00, and it still has $40MIR and $50MIR. I am assuming that the drive will be on sale tomorrow for $109.00 and no rebates, but I really don't know what the story is, I can only tell you what happened to me. So I guess YMMV, as maybe something regional is going on. This was just 30min ago so I would hurry in if you are interested. CC web site still says it is $179-$20- instant savings=$159.99 - $40MIR-$50MIR=$69.99. But at my local B&M it rang up $109.99 and the rebates are valid too.

This is the wd1600jbrtl 7200RPM 8MB cache in case you need the model/desc.

Had the exact same thing happen to me today. Gave my wife the Fry's ad and my receipt and asked her to price match it. She called to tell me that the guy said the drive was $109. I thought he was mistaking the 160GB for another drive.

Anyway, my rebate coupons state they are good for purchases through 3/21. So, this deal may still be valid tomorrow.

You can special order the drive and still qualify for the rebates. You just have to make sure you pay for the drive in full, not just the minimum due (if the offer is still valid of course).
