Please think about putting some more space in between the "new thread" and "post reply" buttons. I have seen a lot more accidental new threads when they were trying to just post a reply.

Thanks Jim. I find that with the size of the buttons and the amount of space already between them, it more or less comes down to people not reading.

It may not be just a case of not reading but sloppy clicking. Another ten or so pixels between them also might be enough, if that is even possible in the forum software.

Maybe a different color would help.

OK, I was going to post this reply as a new thread - Ha Ha...

To me it doesn't happen enough to be annoying.

Actually I find some of the accidental "reply" threads quite entertaining, plus it gives us all a chance to point out the poster's error in humorous ways. :p

Some websites do remove the buttons, but i think its best for them to keep it this way.

Am i the only one who uses quick reply?

I use quick reply most of the time unless I want to add other smilies or a link.
It is fun trying to find what threads belong where.

I didn't want them removed, just to have a bit more space between them.
