Pointing PhaseIII vs 18x24

I just picked up my Terk PhaseIII 18x20 multisat dish today.

Are Azimuth, Elevation, and Tilt coordinates the same for both types of multisat dishes?

I'll be installing it tomorrow after work, but I want to readjust the elevation and tilt now.

Thanks!

The elevation, tilt and azimuth settings for all types of multi-sat dishes are the same for a given location.

With the exception of the Channel Master GainMaster 26"x36"dish which requires a different tilt setting.

Thanks guys. Unless it's raining I'll install the PhaseIII today after work. I already have a mast installed, so it should go pretty easily.

Man, now you're sure to have a problem. ;)

I thought mine would be no big deal, so much so that I did it with nobody else home. I aligned the dish, crawled off the roof (man was I cocky), turned on the receiver. Nothing. So I turned the volume *way* up, crawled back on the roof, and started the micro adjustments. Still nothing. I finally just swung the dish around about 200 degrees and starting panning back and forth. I could hear the signal go from nothing to a lot, so I just kept panning back and forth in smaller arcs. After about 3 minutes I had everything locked at 90% or better (most transponders in the upper 90's).

Not much science to the method, but it did work. :D

(BTW, I did set the tilt and elevation on the ground, so the only variable was the azimuth)
