replacing dead A drive, can I save recordings on B drive?

The 120 gb A drive on my series 2 Tivo has died. When I reimage the replacement A drive from an old tivo.bak file (of the Tivo's original 80gb drive), is there some way to preserve the current recordings on the still-functioning B drive?

Not if the A drive is dead. If the bad A is semi functioning, you might try to copy both drives but your prospects are bleak.

Thanks for your help. The A drive is completely dead so I was unable to recover anything from either drive :( At least the A drive was under warranty!
