One of the nice features of the TiVo help forum is the option to enter up to 3 Tivos when you first join and set up your account. You don't have to enter anything, but if you do, it displays when you view the user's profile. Very helpful when trying to assist someone who neglects to give that information in their post.

Nice...I guess....but more for their own use internally is my guess. Even if I added it, my guess is it would not be used.

Perhaps the intended use, but I know others here search past posts to try to find out what kind of TiVo poster's have in order to answer their question without all of the inquiries (What kind of TiVo?) or to avoid multiple choice (If you have this, do that, etc...)

It's also why many of us list what TiVos we have in our sigs, although it may also be bragging rights. :D

Though kind of nice as long as all gear is not listed. :)

I have added 3 user fileds so three models can be added to the profile.

Thanks David! It's a start. I guess you can't ask new members to populate those field when they first register, but maybe a few will use it. :)
