Upgraded B drive did not expand

Hello,
I have a Tivo series 2 standalone that I had already upgraded to a dual drive unit for a total of 229 hours. A drive = 120 gig and B drive = 80 gig. I wanted to replace the B drive with a 160 gig drive. I wanted to keep the recordings on the old B drive so I followed the Hinsdale guide.
First, I backed up the dual drives using mfsbackup -f 9999 -6so. According to Hinsdale, this divorced the two drives. The backup was placed on the new B drive. I didn't think it would be a problem to boot into XP with this drive so that I could copy the backup to a permanent drive because it was going to be copied over in the next step. Then, I copied the old B drive to the new one using dd if=/dev/hdb of=/dev/hdc bs=1024k. After 12 hours, this step completed with no problems. I married the two drives with mfsadd -x /dev/hda /dev/hdc, but it only showed 229 hours when it should be showing about 300 hours. I powered up the Tivo and it still shows 229 hours. I used the proper jumper and ide settings. Also, MFSTools shows the proper sizes for all drives.
How can I fix this?
Thanks!

Making the backup doesn't divorce the drives! The /backup/ is divorced, that is, it doesn't include the upgrade partitions and should restore to the original A drive (/that/ would divorce the drives).
Anyway, this seems to be an issue with mfsadd failing to recognise that the drive is now larger than it was.
See the 7th post of the Fixes thread for a way to solve this problem. It's rather painful, I'm afraid, but it seems to work.

That worked! And, it wasn't even that painful.
Thanks.
