Arrested Development Returning for Fall?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Its only a rumor, but it is awesome news if it is true!

Philadelphia Inquirer

It's in the middle of the article, and says "There's more, boys and girls. An original of Malcolm in the Middle and the season finale of Arrested Development, slotted for 9 to 10 p.m. Sunday, will be pushed to April 25.
Speaking of Arrested (and we do, every chance we get), Fox insiders say the edgy freshman sitcom is a lock for the fall, despite crummy ratings."

Well know for sure in another month or so when the networks expose their fall schedules.

Well, they need to keep at least one new show, right? ;) I sure hope it makes it, but this is Fox, so I am not holding my breath.

I believe it was Arrested Development about which I read that Fox is telling their affiliates to call the next one the Season Finale, NOT the Series Finale...

It may be coming back, but here's a caviat...why would you believe anything ever published in that filth known as the inquirer?

Drudge Report/Fox News or bust :)

Wait, I remember now, that was UPN and Enterprise. Sorry.

Hey, it's an understandable mistake, after all, Arrested Development and Enterprise are practically the EXACT SAME SHOW, have they ever been on at the same time, cough couch, must run, bye.

I choose bust

This would be fabulous news if it's true. AD needs at least another season to find it's niche. It's definitely the smartest comedy on TV and most viewers just aren't used to that. They will need time to get used to it.

That's like opting for the Enquirer instead.

On another site, I read a rumor that Fox already has the episode that's going to be pre-empted this Sunday penciled in as the second-season premiere in November (after the World Series). The rumor was probably at least fourth-hand or fifth-hand, and I'm very dubious because networks don't usually schedule specific episodes of specific shows that far in advance, but it's another slight glimmer of hope.
