Did anyone bother to watch the show? I did because I wanted to see coming attractions for the new eps. While the teaser didn't show anything too specific, (a REALLY bunged-up Enterprise) it did say that next week is the first of: 6 New episodes, 6 episodes until the end of their mission!!

Uh- does this mean they are definitely cancelled?

Hopefully they mean the end of the "expanse / stop the Xindi weapon" mission. I think it would be cool if the NX-2 came in to save the day!

I did, but it said

some "mysterious federation ship" come in, and I didn't think the NX-2 was all that mysterious. Maybe it's only mysterious until we find out that's what it is.

So you may be completely right. It will be fun to find out!

It has definitely been picked up for at least a half-season next year, with the option of a full season depending on the ratings.

The last that I heard, the half season pickup was unconfirmed.

It hasn't been publically announced yet, but the affiliates have been told to promote the finale specifically as a season, not series, finale.

Knowing B&B it could be Voyager or 1701-E or the Reliant...

Stunt casting may actually help. Even though that'd screw with the Trek timeline even more.

I believe the promo said something like "six episodes left to the end of their mission, or to the end of Earth..."

Well I figured that the Earth wasn't going to end since Kirk went there several times (not just in the past).

I see LeVar Burton will be directing one of the remaining episodes. I liked his work in TNG and DS9.
