She was a cool character (and of course hot!) and I was wondering if it was just a one time appearence or does she show up again?

Nm, I found her in IMDB and I see she is in several. I can't wait to see her some more, she is an interesting character.

I'm horrible with names of tv show characters. The only person I can think of is the wife of Lindsey/Gunn in the W&H hell dimension. Is that her?

^^ No - Gwen was the Raiden-like catburglar character with the ability to channel/control electricity.

I haven't seen all of the episodes yet of season 4 but I just need to know the fate of Gwen. Could you /spoiler what happened on her last appearance please? I just want to see if maybe she will be a player in the last episodes.

The last I recall she stole some device that de-electrified her. But it was only a "beta" version so there was room for her to come back since the device may malfunction eventually.

That was her last appearance on Angel, according to tvtome. Episode 416, "Players".
