I think they called him "The Bat-man" way back when he first came out (1939 or 40 was it?). So it sounds like they're getting back to basics with him here.

Interesting. This is the first I've heard of it. They definately seem to be going for some sort of hybrid between anime and the comics (some of the trailer had some very Todd McFarlane-esqe aspects to it).

As long as they keep Kevin Conroy, I'll watch...

Have you tried using a different player? VideoLAN?

Or maybe get a codec from divx.com? That's what I have to do sometimes on my Mac.

I just tried the video myself. Quicktime wouldn't play the Audio. MPlayer played it fine right away. I thought it looked pretty cool. I'll probably check it out in the Fall.

Incidentally in the Channel Guide this morning I found a Spider-Man cartoon that had a date of 2004 so I was curious and checked it out. It was Spider-Man Unlimited on ABC Fam. I never saw that before. Ugh. It was pretty bad.

It looked like right before that episode they played the early 90's FOX version which was really good.

How long's this Unlimited one been around?
