I saw a 30 hr Panasonic Replay floor model with life subscription for 278.00 today.
Is this good price? Should i go back and buy it tomorow?
Can the drive be upgraded?

Thanks
Megazeph

New 20hr Replays can be had for less than $200, and since you can upgrade the drives, there's not much of a difference between the two. http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif

Although, since you seem to have posted this in a TiVo forum, I must say that while TiVo is more expensive, many of us consider it to be a better all-round solution. (For example, on Replay, you can't really be 100% certain of what's going to actually record until it actually happens.)

In fact, there's a very thorough and fair comparison of the two here:

Maybe, maybe (both depend on whether you can apply the $100 rebate that I believe is available now to a floor model) and yes. But you should really ask this stuff in the ReplayTV forum. We can't even be trusted to answer these kinds of questions about Tivo, much less ReplayTV, or so I've heard.
