Actually I need a break! I could use a good month of repeats to get caught up on archiving some series I've been recording. I have over 40 of one sitting on tivo and no time to burn to dvd.

Count me in as another who could use a break. I have tons of unwatched DVDs sitting here, books to catch up on, etc.

And there's no Wonderfalls to watch, so who cares what's on. :(

But I do have sympathy for those of you who are thinking 'what am I going to watch now?' I'm doing that already.

Just think back to the past -- how much more horrible things were before we had TiVos to find things for us.

<FX: waits for screams to stop>

See, it could be worse. ;)

My tv "to do" list:
this week's normal TV ("South Park", "Enterprise", etc)
last week's CSI
12 episodes of "Last Exile" (anime)
about a week's worth of "Tech Live"
6 episodes of "Futurama"
misc episodes of "Screen Savers"

So that's like... 15-20 hours just to get caught up on Tivo. Then I have all this TV I'd like to catch up on (probably via DVD):
season 1 of Penn & Teller
season 4+ of Buffy
entire run of Angel
3 seasons of Alias
4 seasons of Sopranos
entire run of Farscape
Firefly
From the Earth to the Moon
Band of Brothers
Walking With Dinosaurs, Prehistoric Beasts
Neon Genesis Evangelion series + movies
entire run of Six Feet Under
entire run of Babylon 5

And that's just the basics. There's tons of stuff I'd like to get around to seeing every episode of like Seinfeld and The Simpsons and tons of stuff I missed the boat on entirely that I'd like to watch all of like Twin Peaks.

And then of course, I also have a backlog of about 400 movies I'd like to see (that I know of, barring of course any movies I'd become interested in while watching those initial 400).

So again... I just can't relate to people saying there's nothing to watch.

I'm going to do the same thing. Haven't had much time to use it now, but since there won't be any shows to watch, I'll be able to see Firefly, and many other movies that people are always recomending, as well as the movies that came out in December (We got it in January), so I can start watching them as they come out on DVD.

I've read in a few places that The Sopranos season finale has been pushed back to June 6th.

This episode is supposed to be from my hometown! In fact, I helped a little bit by building some of the furniture. The reason I say "supposed to" is because they might actually lengthen this episode to 90 minutes because of the overwhelming community support. If that is the case, it will be shown in the Summer instead.

I hope everyone watches this episode. It is a very heartwarming story about a family of 8 kids 12-23 that lost both of their parents last year within two weeks to two separate heart attacks. The kids have committed to stay together and the entire Livermore community has pulled together to help them on their journey.

I'd have to check my Tivo again but I believe that the series finale of Frasier on May the 13th. starts at 8:54 instead of 9:00 PM.

HBO Sunday night series usually skip Memorial Day weekend and have the season finale the following week. And in this case the Sopranos finale is definitely June 6th, as is Deadwood's.

Deadwood will air a new episode on June 6th but, the season finale for Deadwood is the following week on June 13th.
