I know this card will rock for all my gaming but I also want to hook my Tivo to my PC so I can edit out commercials and back up Angel etc. How is this card for video editing? Does it come with the software I need or do I have to get it else where?

do you really need to watch old episodes of shows a year later? no. archiving is USELESS except on maybe one or two shows a year, that are just THAT GOOD, and you probably have a tape desk fro that sort of thing.

The ATI Customer Support web site has all the software you need when you install the MMC package. I have a standalone box connected to my AIW 9800 pro card in order to burn saved programs to DVD. I use the TV function with it's recorder feature to edit the shows and save them to my hard drive. I then use Nero 6 to burn them to DVD's.
