Anyone get plush TiVo guy from May hardware survey?

In late May, I received an email from TiVo asking me to participate in a survey regarding disk space upgrades. TiVo offered a plush TiVo guy toy to participants as a thanks.

Has anyone who participated in this survey received it yet? It's been a couple of months and I had almost forgotten about it, but still no TiVo guy... http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/confused.gif

I received mine a few weeks ago. It's pretty cool, but I always thought they were larger for some reason...

We apologize for any delays. The majority of survey respondents received their TiVo Plush Doll within a few weeks after the close of the survey, but we recently discovered there were some badly formatted addresses and some shipments were held up. We've fixed the addresses and you should see your shipment arrive next week. Thanks for responding to the survey!

I filled out a survey a while ago. I got my plush doll fairly quickly. Cute little guy, I keep hoping for another survey so he can have a little brother http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I wasn't around for the survey, but I decided I had to have a TiVo doll. So, I went to TiVo.com and ordered one. I ordered a bunch of stuff because of the stupid shipping costs. They charge 9 bucks to ship something no matter how much stuff you order. Actually it says you'd have to order over 12 dolls before your shipping cost changed.

I felt like I needed to order more stuff so I wouldn't feel cheated on shipping. That has to be the dumbest thing in the world. I'm just now realizing how stupid I am.

So, I ordered 2 dolls, an antenna ball and 2 coffee mugs. I also get a window decal free with any order!! That makes it worth it.

My TiVo-guy doll arrived today... Thanks TiVo.

On a side note, it makes my 17-month old son cry.

He's not afraid of dinosaur puppets or a stuffed talking Taco Bell dog, but the guy that faithfully records his Teletubbies episodes is somehow scary.

Oh, well...
