Using Harmony to switch 480i/1080i

I plan to get a HD-TIVO and am actually running it to two different TV's, one HD, one SD. The wiring is component to the HD, s-video to the SD. I will be using 1080i on the HD, 480i on the SD. As well I have remote extenders so I can easily use the remote from either TV and I plan to get two Harmony 688 remotes, one for each TV.
My question, I know I can use the up arrow if I read right to switch inputs so I know when I go to either TV if necessary after choosing watch TV I can select the up arrow. My question though, is it possible to have the remote automatically select 480i at the SD TV and 1080i at the HD TV?

There's no practical way to do that. The best you could do is provide a macro available at each TV to do it, but generally you'll be there at the TV anyway, see the wrong output format or see no picture, and press the up-arrow button. Really no need for a macro to do that.

The reason the Harmony remotes couldn't do it automatically is even with their state-based logic, each remote is unaware of the other remote, so while the remote can keep track of the state settings are in, it does so only because it knows what state it last put them in. If another remote changes any of those states, it'd be out-of-sync and you'd need to resync the remote, which would be a whole lot more complex an operation than pushing the up button based on what you do or don't see on the screen.
