I have a PTV100 that has a single 120 in it that appears to have locked up after a erase and clear all settings. It will boot up to the screen that says just one minute or something like that, and just sits there forever. So now I am wondering what I do? I believe the drive is okay, i guess this can happen. But now what do I do, since it wont boot.

Please help

You can try to use diagnostic mode to trigger a GSOD, which might fix the problem. Failing that, I would try restoring a known-good backup to the disk (you need an HDR112 backup).

Sticking at 'almost there' can indicate a modem failure, but presumably the TiVo was making calls OK before you reset it?

I was working before that, thats the other problem, I dont have a backup of anything. What is the GSOD? Is that one of those numbers you are supposed to punch in when you hold down the pause button?
