I have two TiVo drives. Can I put them in the same unit?

Basically, I bought a DirectTiVo last year. They shipped me the unit, but i could not get DirecTV because of line of sight issues (of course).
So, I got cable and a TiVo.
DirecTV can't figure out how to pick up this unit and has more or less 'given' it to me. I thought it would be a great way to double the current capacity of my TiVo. Is it possible? Do I need to follow the directions on one of the existing sites? Are there conflicts between the DirecTiVo drives and the regular TiVos.
As a side note, I have a series two 40 hour unit.
Thanks,
skratch

I don't think you should have any problems. Just treat it as a brand new add-on drive in the upgrade. The process should take care of reformatting and making the D*Tivo drive ready for the SA.

I'd back up the DirecTiv to an image "in case". Same for the SA Stivo.
